Premier Dacian Ciolos will meet U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden during a visit he will pay to the United States on May 22-25, according to a Government communiqué.
Likewise, the Head of Government will meet a series of high U.S. government officials, representatives of the business sector, as well as members of the Romanian community in Washington.

“The concept of the visit is built around the “from shared security to shared prosperity” idea. The goal is to outline the success of the Strategic Partnership with the U.S. in the security domain, as well as to articulate an economic dimension of similar ambition, starting from Romania’s current profile, characterised by economic growth, stability and predictability,” the communiqué reads.
