The 6th Black Sea Defense and Aerospace exhibition BSDA 2016 opens on Wednesday at the ROMAERO fair facility in Bucharest. The event gathers 250 exhibitors from 25 American, European and Asian countries and military delegations of Bulgaria, Croatia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, France, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, Thailand, and Turkey.
Armoured personnel carriers, drones, transport helicopters and fighter aircraft are on display, and cutting-edge defence and security equipment and technologies. Several specialized conferences are scheduled.
Attractions include demonstration flights of MiG-21 Lancer, C-27 J Spartan, IAR-99 Soim (Hawk) aircraft and IAR-330 Puma SOCAT helicopters of the Romanian Air Force and an anti-terrorist exercise of the Defence Intelligence General Directorate on Wednesday; other special demonstrations of the Justice Ministry’s National Administration of Penitentiaries will follow.
