Government facilitates emergency aids for families of Colectiv fire victims

The Government modified in its Wednesday sitting the aid to the families of the victims of the 30 October 2015 fire in the Colectiv Club of Bucharest.

Under the new provisions, the attendants of the wounded get 1,500 euros each, or 200 euros per day; the same sums were formerly the upper limits for the aid.

Moreover, as this emergency aid is exceptional, no justification documents are necessary for the transport, accommodation and meal fees. Aid is also provided from the request date to those who failed to meet the application deadline.

The government decision stipulates that only the number of days of care post-hospitalization or post-treatment is checked to recover the possible payments in excess; no recovery of the aid already paid will be sought.
