Alessandro Baricco has launched his “Young Bride” in Bucharest

One of the most famous and appreciated Italian writers, Alessandro Baricco, was present in Bucharest, on 17 and 18 May, to launch his novel called “Young Bride”, which will be available at Humanitas Fiction, being translated by Gabriela Lungu.

The launch will took place on Wednesday at Humanitas Bookstore in Cismigiu. Along with the author, the public had the chance to meet Ezio Peraro, director of the Italian Institute of Culture in Romania; Catalin Stefanescu, writer, producer and host of the show “100% Guaranteed” broadcasted on TVR 1, one of the most enduring and popular cultural programs in Romania; Gabriela Lungu , translator of the “Young Bride” novel, and Radu Paraschivescu, writer, translator and producer of cultural programs “Da-te la o carte” and “Pastila de limba”, both aired by Digi24.

The meeting was moderated by Denisa Comanescu, Humanitas Fiction General Manager.

The discussion was followed by an autograph session.
