Cotnari wines, awarded in Brussels

The wines produced by Cotnari SA won gold and silver medals at the International Wine Contest in Brussels. “Tradition and history always merged with the modern at Cotnari. This merging of old and new led to performance. Going further, we can say that the “new” Tamaioasa Romaneasca 2015 and the “old” Grasa de Cotnari 1985 made up the golden recipe at the Concours International des Vins – MONDE SELECTION – Brussels 2016 too,” SC Cotnari SA Marketing Director Catalin Grecu stated.

According to him, Cotnari won gold medals with the two aforementioned wines at this prestigious competition that takes place under the patronage of the International Vine and Wine Organisation. Five other wines that won silver medals joined them: Feteasca Alba medium wine, Tamaioasa Romaneasca medium wine, Francusa-Selectii and Blanc de Cotnari, all 2015 vintage.
