At the Government meeting yesterday, the Foreign Investments and Foreign Trade Department launched the website for foreign investors. The website’s goal is to offer information about the ecosystem of the Romanian economy and about investment opportunities in Romania.
The www.investromania.gov.ro project has English-language content and is structured on several sections, including: “Why invest”, “Business in Romania” (main sectors), “Government Support,” “Life in Romania”, “Newsroom.” Each of them is meant to guide the potential foreign investor toward information on macroeconomic indicators, education, cost of living, the top priority sectors, state aid, traditions, culture, details about InvestRomania’s activity etc.
Another component of the platform aims at presenting the top priority sectors this year, so that investors would have access to information that concern the size of the market, most important market players, labour force, export capacity, potential suppliers and partners. The six top-priority sectors are: IT&C, auto industry, aerospace industry, Creative industries, Agribusiness and bio-economy.
