German house construction leader enters local market. HUF HAUS opens first showroom houses in Romania

HUF HAUS, German company that pioneers post-and-beam architecture in Europe and leader of the industry, is entering the Romanian market by opening two showroom houses close to Bucharest. The buildings, sporting unique design, will be inaugurated this autumn and will come in addition to the ones that can already be visited in countries such as Germany, United Kingdom and Switzerland.

“We take pride in our company’s tradition of over 100 years, since HUF HAUS is a family business that has experienced, over time, continuous and solid growth as well as recognition as an international brand. This inauguration is a reference point for us, being our first representation in this part of Europe. We are very confident in the potential of the Romanian real-estate market. The showroom houses will feature the well-known HUF HAUS architectural style characterised by the symbiosis between wood and glass and some of the most advanced technologies that our company is offering,” HUF HAUS Managing Director Georg Huf stated.

The company has expanded, currently having 19 offices and showroom houses in Europe and satisfied clients all over the world.

The HUF HAUS portfolio is characterised by atemporal elegance and can be identified through its remarkable architecture and classical design. Each house has a distinguished but at the same time modern look, creating a perfect symbiosis between wood and glass and maintaining a high degree of energy efficiency. Moreover, each component is designed and created at the HUF plant in Germany, ensuring the exceptional quality of the product. Regardless of the model chosen – ART or modern – HUF HAUS constructions are innovative and sophisticated and can be adapted to the requirements or preferences of each client.

HUF HAUS is market leader in Europe when it comes to contemporary post-and-beam architecture. The company is producing around 100 houses per year (residential as well as office buildings), 40 percent of which are exported at global level, including to China.
