Summer comes earlier in Bucharest with the organizing of the second edition of ‘Piata Indonezia’

In an attempt to relive the success of its first edition of last year, the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bucharest and the Indonesian Community in Romania are organizing the Second Edition of ‘Piata Indonezia’, a great outdoor event, on May 28th, between 12:00 – 3:00 pm, at the premises of the Embassy located in no. 10, Gina Patrichi (former Orlando) Street, Sector 1.

In this edition, the theme of Piaţa Indonezia is ‘Indonesian Summer in Bucharest’. We’ll bring the magical atmosphere of Bali by exhibiting Balinese traditional dances, delicious food, traditional products and craft bazaar. In addition, there will also be live music and dances from other parts of Indonesia, and also demonstration of Pencak Silat, the traditional martial arts from Indonesia.

The event is meant to promote Indonesian rich culture and heritage, as well as to increase interaction and cooperation between Indonesia and Romania. ‘Piaţa Indonezia’ is conducted back-to-back with our participation in TIBCO (International Fair for Consumer Goods Bucharest), which will be held during 2-5 June at RomExpo. Our stands in TIBCO will showcase various Indonesian high-quality products.

“This year, we are pleased to have the ‘Nine o’clock’ newspaper to be part of our event as a media partner, to continue the good collaboration that has been established along the years,” a press release of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Bucharest reads.
