EnPower Hackathon, Bucharest, June 4-5

Some of the most representative IT industry professionals will advise the teams that will take part in EnPower Hackathon on June 4-5. Alexandru Lapusan, Zitec CEO; Andrei Ganci, Product Manager, Adobe; Constantin Craciun, Project Manager, Okapi Studio & inventeaza.ro Co-Founder; Dragos Nicolaescu, Lifestyle Business Mentor & Visionary Business Consultants Founder; Maria Diaconu, Mozaic Works Founder; Radu Amarie, Softbinator Co-Founder; Radu Popovici, Project Manager, Gemini Solutions will help the participants turn their ideas into viable business products within 24 hours. Their mission is to guide them in strategically building a functional product, with a minimum of time, effort and resources.

At the same time, seven of the members of Enel’s top management, including Enel Energie and Enel Energie Muntenia Director General Michele Grassi, and Enel Romania IT&C Director Carlos Luque Larena will constantly offer participants information on the electricity industry. Enel experts will explain the industry’s challenges and opportunities and will help the teams focus on the right development of their products.

The ideas signed up for the hackathon will have to answer the challenge of developing new digital products and technological solutions that would create relevant connections with energy users and would improve the experience of using energy and related services. Enel will subsequently back the resulting viable prototypes with technical, marketing and retail resources in order for them to develop into functional products that could be adopted and used by Enel.

EnPower Hackathon’s signing-up period is open until May 27, on www.enpower.tech. The event will take place on June 4-5, at TechHub Bucharest.

The event is supported by Enel, in partnership with This is Not a Storm.
