Elisabeta Palace’s garden, a land of childhood for Children’s Day

Hundreds of children, together with their families were invited on Sunday by the Crown Princess Margareta in the garden of the Elisabeta Palace of Bucharest to celebrate the Children’s Day.

The guests were welcomed by Princess Margareta and Princess Muna of Jordan, the mother of the Hashemite sovereign, King Abdullah II.

The garden of the Elisabeta Palace thus become a land of fairy-tale for the little ones, where they had the opportunity to play within several workshops and witness special artistic moments, in a dance show with the national champions of the ‘Mihai Petre’ Academy and listen to a musical performance of ‘Young Talents of Margareta Princess’s Foundation’ scholars.

Princess Margareta and Princess Muna of Jordan have found it proper to be amongst the children and have visited together with them the workshops of coronets and Romanian crafts, have assisted to plane modeling, fencing, karate demonstrations, and also to the flower hairdressing salon and the pigeon exhibition.

The children have received white balloons, ate sweets, ice cream, took photos with clown Cristiano with the Globus Circus of Bucharest, have addicted to demonstrations of magic and saw in the Palace’s garden a genuine photo show with images from King Mihai’s childhood.

The event dedicated to the little ones was organized by the Princess Margareta of Romania Foundation.
