Marian Dragulescu wins two silver medals in Bern’s European Championships

Romanian athlete Marian Dragulescu secured two silver medals in the ground and vault gymnastics finals on Sunday, at the European Championships of Male Artistic Gymnastics in Bern (Switzerland).

In the ground final, Dragulescu scored 15.333, being surpassed by Russian Nikita Nagornii, 15.566, while the bronze medal went to Israeli Alexander Shatilov, 15.300.

Dragulescu scored 15.316, after 15.433 at his first vault and 15.200 at his second. The Romanian was even to Armenian Artur Davtian (15.316), who has won the silver, too.

Marian Dragulescu (35 year old) has thus brought the first medals to Romania at the Bern European Championships. Dragulescu has also had at this event three titles, two silver medals, one bronze at the ECs, and four world titles and an Olympic silver medal.
