More than 200 students have successfully graduated from an international English learning program

More than 200 students, aged 4-16 years old, have graduated from courses that teach them English as a mother tongue, which are part of a wide international project initiated by the „Helen Doron English” Educational Group, and they will be awarded during a cultural event, which will be held on Saturday, June 11th 2016, starting 11 o’clock, at Maritimo Shopping Center in Constanta, Romania.

Some of the graduates of the international program are studying for international English-testing exams, and 80 of them have already sat for the Cambridge exam, which, in the near future, will provide them with countless opportunities both personally, and especially professionally.

A new international English learning program will start this summer

The International Helen Doron English Centre will develop another innovative program for children, which will help them learn English while… having fun. „The educational programs which we offer our students teach them more than just English; they are taught to think in this language. It is important for a child to have support outside the classroom to practice their English, and this is why we are running a special international program for the summer holiday, where children can develop the ability to know English in an innovative way: by having fun. Summer school is based on the concept of ‚learning is fun’, just as all of the other Helen Doron English courses, but during summer, the environment is more relaxed and we make it a priority for children to have fun, because a relaxed child can be a more focused child, who can take in information faster”, says the education specialist Stefania Filip, coordinator for the International Helen Doron English Centre.

According to the specialist, the major benefit of summer school is the fact that it is an exclusive English speaking environment, which supports accelerated learning. Basically, children are having fun in English, alongside teachers, who are trained and prepared with an arsenal of activities, games, songs and new knowledge, and also along with student-volunteers for the summer school. „Volunteering is a program that’s integrated into summer school, and it gives students the opportunity to learn what is it like to work with children, how English is taught with an advanced pedagogical method and it gives them an unique summer experience. The summer program will run during the entire summer, and at the end of August, we are getting ready for adventure in English camp, which will take place in Berca, Buzau county. This is the second consecutive year we’ve organized this camp, as students and parents have requested, and we can guarantee many surprises and a lot of fun in a fascinating mountain environment.  The teachers who will join the children will ensure an exclusive English speaking environment and will integrate elements of the Helen Doron English method in the camp activities. So, as you can see, we are headed towards a full, energetic summer, with children eager to know what it means to have fun learning”, mentions the education specialist Stefania Filip, coordinator for the International Helen Doron English Centre.

There are limited seats in the international summer program, and in order to book a seat at Summer School 2016, information and reservations can be solicited at the phone number +40 723 949393. More information on www.HelenDoron.ro.
