Italian President Sergio Mattarella to visit Romania

On June 14, on the occasion of the official visit that Italian President Sergio Mattarella will pay to Romania at the invitation of President Klaus Iohannis, the Italian Embassy to Romania, ICE in collaboration with Confindustria Romania and with the participation of the Italian Chamber of Commerce for Romania and of SACE, will organise the “Italian Investments in Romania – A European Road in the Global Economy” Economic Forum at Athenee Palace Hilton Hotel. President Klaus Iohannis stated on June 2, on the Italian National Day, that his Italian counterpart will pay a visit to Romania, and emphasised that the political dialogue with Italy has reached an exceptional level recently, but that there is the need to consolidate and intensify bilateral economic cooperation. Italy is Romania’s second-largest trade partner and the top foreign investor based on the number of companies registered.
