Queen + Adam Lambert, for the first time in Romania

One of the most expected shows of this summer, the legendary band Queen + Adam Lambert, will take place on June 21, 2016, in Constitution Square from Bucharest.

After their first appearance in 2009 in the final of the American Idol show, followed by an unforgettable performance on the MTV Europe Music Awards stage, Adam Lambert shortly became a permanent presence in the live formula of the Queen band, with which it held many concerts during the 2012-2013 period.

In 2014, it was held a sold-out tournament in the US, at the end of which Queen + Adam Lambert were entitled “the Band of the Year”, within the 10th edition of the Classic Rock Roll of Honour, also being voted “The Best Live Band of the Year”, according to the survey performed by Ultimate Classic Rock. Queen + Adam Lambert ended the year with a fabulous show held on the New Year’s Eve , near the famous Big Ben from London, the concert being broadcasted live on TV and watched by almost 12 million people.

The artist visited 10 European countries in 2015: UK, France, Austria, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Denmark, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Poland, the tournament being sold-out. At the end of this new series, the band totalized 67 sold-out concerts in less than one year.

Queen + Adam Lambert were invited to open the 2015 edition of the Rock in Rio festival from Brazil, where the band performed thirty years ago at the inaugural edition since 1985. At that time they gathered half a million spectators, the most numerous public which paid for a ticket in the history. Queen + Adam Lambert took this opportunity to prolong their visit on the continent for a new tournament.
