Keba celebrates 10 years of inovation in Romania

KEBA Automation, the most innovative company in Romania in digitization and self banking area, local branch of global KEBA AG Group, celebrates 10 years of existence on the Romanian banking market.

The company is famous for its innovation in the banking area. Thus, KEBA was the first companies that brought the cash recycling concept in Europe, being one of the first company accredited for recycling money technology by the European Central Bank. Furthermore, it was the first supplier that introduced this notion in Romania, in the year of its launch on the local market and nowadays it continues to own the leader position in this field.

Also, KEBA handles and technically monitors the biggest network of banking terminals from the country, with a high performance ticketing and monitoring solution, developed entirely by KEBA Romania.

One of the most important accomplishments of the company in the last decade was sustaining a very important project for the Romanian banking market – KEBA supported an important financial institution in implementing a 100% digital/ cashless branch. So, all the clients’ operations are made in self banking system, using last generation terminals, and the initiative is a a first for the Romanian banking market.

Moreover, the banking services offered by KEBA also support the collecting cash needs for the big corporation clients or cash & carry traders.

Therefore, last year, the Romanian terminal fleet registered a 35% increase, considering the previous year.
