Mangalia Shipyard forecasts gross profit of RON 315,000 in 2016

The Mangalia Naval Shipyard is forecasting a gross profit of RON 315,000 in 2016, estimating revenues of RON 3.031 M and expenditures of RON 2.717 M, according to the budget it published in the Official Gazette.

Its expenditures on personnel are set at RON 1.277 M, of which RON 551,000 on salaries. The number of employees it forecasts for the end of 2016 is 32, which would mean an average monthly salary of RON 1,414 per employee, Agerpres writes.

The payment of arrears stands at RON 3.279 M, and the debts at RON 155,000.

Subordinated to the Economy Ministry, the Mangalia Naval Shipyard has the capacity to produce ships for Romanian and foreign beneficiaries and is the main manufacturer of warships in Romania, having a long experience in the domain and having the Ministry of Defence as a traditional client on the domestic market.
