Three Romanian student teams get silver, bronze at GENIUS Olympiad in the U.S.

Three Romanian student teams claimed the silver and bronze at the U.S. GENIUS Olympiad, an international environmental project competition for high school students.

The silver medal rewarded the team of the Bucharest International Informatics High School that entered the competition with The Wise Headphones (with self-adjusting volume, to prevent hearing damage) and two bronze medals went to the teams of the Constanta International Informatics High School and of the Bucharest International School, who presented the projects Brightening Your Path and Hydrogen on Board, respectively,” reads a Thursday release of the Lumina Educational Institutions.

Over 850 students from 65 countries signed up for the competition this year.
