An expression of creativeness and inventive spirit, the “Inventica 2016” Invention, Research, Innovation and Technological Transfer International Show, currently at its 20th anniversary edition, took place in Iasi over the last three days.
Inventors and researchers, doctoral students and students enrolled in academic institutions, institutes and research centres, individual inventors and pupils from 18 countries took part in the event with inventions, research projects and scientific papers. The countries represented were: Armenia, Belarus, China, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, Germany, Greece, Malaysia, Republic of Moldova, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Sweden, Ukraine, Taiwan, Tunisia and Romania.
The event included conferences, scientific presentations that consisted of several sections, presentations of Romanian scientific and technical geniuses – ‘Henri COANDA, 130 years since birth”, “Nikola TESLA, 160 years since birth” – as well as an “in memoriam” moment for Professor Vitalie Belousov, Professor Mariana Caluschi and Professor Dorel Cernomazu.
Throughout this period, the Show’s exhibition area hosted the inventions and projects presented before the international jury. The most meritorious works at the Show – scientific papers, inventions as well as artworks – received the “Hamangia Thinker” Gold Medal, the “Inventica 2016” Gold Medal, cups, trophies and diplomas of excellency.
