The Government on Wednesday approved granting 201.423 million lei for works to rehabilitate the local infrastructure affected by the May-June 2016 rains, announced the Government’s Spokesperson Liviu Iolu in a briefing at Victoria Palace.
“It is about 26 counties that are the object of this emergency aid. It is a considerable effort of the Government to collect this money,” said Liviu Iolu.
The Governments spokesman added this is a first stage of the aid, with the Government to continue to analyze the requests for the damage caused by floods. There are also benefits and other emergency aid from the Ministry of Labour to the flood-hit families.
Iolu mentioned that in the intervention fund available to the Government had been supplemented to this purpose.
