President Iohannis awards Star of Romania decoration to Poland’s President Duda

President Klaus Iohannis has awarded his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda a Star of Romania in rank of sash decoration.

The Romanian head of state bestowed the distinction on Poland’s President “as a token of high appreciation for the contribution to making regional cooperation more dynamic, as well as for the development of friendly relations and cooperation between Romania and the Republic of Poland.”

The award decree was signed Tuesday and the decoration was bestowed at the proposal of Romania’s foreign affairs minister.
