Films directed by Cristian Mungiu, Alexandru Solomon and Cristi Puiu, at the “Ceau, Ciema!” Festival

“Graduation”, the film that has brought the prize for direction to Cristian Mungiu (photo) at Cannes 2016, “Romania: four homelands”, Alexandru Solomon’s last documentary and an anniversary screening of the “The goods and the money” (“Marfa si banii”) by Cristi Puiu, in the presence of the actor Alexandru Papdopol, are among the events dedicated to the Romanian film industry at the third edition of the “Ceau, Cinema!” Festival, held in Timisoara and Gottlob, from 14 to 17 Julty.

Three of the most recent and appreciated Romanian documentaries can be seen in a marathon screening on Sunday, July 17, in the last day of the festival, in the “Embassy” space, in Timisoara, according to the organizers, quoted by Agerpress.

“Ceau, Cinema!” Festival has also scheduled, on July 16, a selection of new short films made by filmmakers from the Western side of the country, gathered under the title “Films from Banat”.

Besides the free access screenings announced on the website ceaucinema.ro, the acces to the festival is based on a ticket or subscription (subscriptions for the whole festival are available at the Carturesti – Mercy bookstore in Timisoara, at the price of RON 45).
