A must-sea festival: Spellground Festival will have an even bigger size, at the seaside

Spellground Festival will take control of the seaside, from Constanta to Navodari, with 3 stages, 17 international artists and 44 Romanian artists, as well as with two more headliners: Editors and Biffy Clyro. The Festival will take place from 12 to 14 August. Besides, Monday, August 15 will be an official holiday, meaning you can enjoy the longest weekend at the Black Sea, on the occasion of the Spellground Festival.

With sales amounting more than 2 million copies worldwide, Editors have quickly burned the steps: from the university band to the pantheon of the British music legends. From the first hits – “Bullets”, “Munich” or “Blood”, to the most recent single turned into a hit, “All The Kings”, the original chords and the unique vocal style signed by Tom Smith told people loud and clear: Editors are unrivalled.

The three Scottish from Biffy Clyro have shocked us, thrilled us, outraged us and activated us to set their songs on the “repeat” function. Having influences varying from Metallica to Rush or Pixies, the band had settled its place among the most complex appearances of the beginning of this century. Song like “Many of Horror”, “Mountains” or “Biblical” have conquered the fans of many music areas and made the guys to acquire a well-deserved title of Best British Band at NME Awards in 2013.

The change comes with even more good news: an exclusive Spellground camping with sea views and exit to the beach in Navodari, free double-decker transportation between all the areas during the festival (based on access bracelet), accommodation bundles to the hotel with included Spellground subscription (to be available soon), nautical sports, original video-mapping shows and many other surprises. All these arguments of the change are also doubled of security groundings related to the Capidava area: the recent infiltrations into the soil, caused by the increase of the Danube’s level and the restrictions imposed by the protected area status (with limited intervention opportunities regarding covering the land with gravel, building a foundation, making improvements).

Electro Stage reconfigures itself to make place to even more live experiences; new announcements are to be made. Electronic music fans will spend three days on the beach together with: Fritz Kalkbrenner, Dennis Ferrer, Soul Clap, Wolf + Lamb, Pillowtalk, Nick Monaco, Doctor Dru, Aquarius Heaven, Chopstik & Johnjon, Andre Hommen, Life on Planets.

Those who have already bought their tickets and, for objective reasons, will not be able to come to the new Spellground, can request to be reimbursed starting on June 29, by following the steps mentioned on the website.

Last 5,000 subscriptions at the price of RON 295 will be available at http://www.eventim.ro, in the Eventim distribution network or at http://www.bilete.ro, in the Romanian Post offices, in the Inmedio stores indicated with Bilete.ro and in the Germanos stores. Flash-sale: One-day tickets at the special price of RON 130 will be available until July 15. At the entrance, in the day of the event, tickets will be available at the price of RON 185.
