Rompetrol has opened ten new gas stations in the Republic of Moldova

+  The company operates today a network of 75 fuel distribution units

 

Rompetrol Moldova, a subsidiary of KMG International, has opened 10 gas stations in the first six months, thus managing to operate a network of 75 distribution points, according to a press release of the group. The company estimates that by the end of the year, it will finish the works for another 5 stations, thus strengthening its position on the local fuel distribution market.

All the stations are selling only fuels produced by the Petromidia refinery. Following the commissioning of the 10 stations, Rompetrol Moldova has helped create 100 jobs.

“Rompetrol Moldova is among the largest importers in Republic of Moldova, as well as among the first 3 fuel distributers in the retail segment of the local market. Rompetrol Moldova has the largest cover in the municipality of Chisinau, with more than a half of the total number of stations located in the Capital, being the leader in this area, compared to the other important competitors on the oil market in the Republic of Moldova”, mentions the press release.

Besides the 75 distribution stations, our company operates 4 more own stations selling exclusively LPG, an oil warehouse in Chisinau and a LPG warehouse in Tarnova village, Donduseni. Rompetrol Moldova is present on the local market since 2002, having over 700 employees.
