International Nelson Mandela Day celebrated in Bucharest

The South African Embassy in Romania in partnership with Inocenti Foundation and  “Ferdinand” Secondary School in Bucharest has organized on Monday an event jointly with  and for the underprivileged children to mark the International Nelson Mandela Day.

The event was attended by South African Ambassador to Romania, Mrs. Thenjiwe Mtintso, who shared with the children Mandela’s legacy and values based on the concept of Ubuntu, meaning solidarity, care, love, generosity, humanity, respect for the others and for life.
