ENEL offers to customers an even more attractive price for electricity

Five months after E-Light appeared, Enel brings news regarding the price offer for the first package of electricity supply especially dedicated to the customer who is familiarized with the digital field and online communication.

The offer comes now with an energy price which is 20 percent smaller. The calculation was relied on the comparison between the current electricity price on the regulated market (without including the regulated distribution, transport and system tariffs) and the price of the E-Light product.

The structure of the product is simple and transparent, including a subscription of RON 0.05 per day and per consumption place, and an electricity price of RON 0.147 per kWh. The components regulated by ANRE or approved by special laws, meaning fees for transportation services, system and distribution, cogenerating fee, green certificates, excise and VAT, all of these add to this package. Also in the same package, Enel includes a supplementary aid for customers who need to change the contract holder. Within the transition process to the E-Light product, they will benefit from consultancy in performing the necessary changes.

In order to be able to benefit from the E-Light offer, customers only have to activate the electronic invoice option.

E-Light is a new step made by Enel in order to digitalize the Romanian market, after they were the first electricity company launching the electronic invoice at the local level, after they have launched a mobile app for customers and they’ve implemented self-care units. Moreover, as a part of the digitalizing process, Enel is constantly working on simplifying procedures and in providing customers with practical, easy to use alternatives. The company also focuses on improving the client’s stpes to be made in the contracting process and on providing digital alternatives instead of the traditional contact channels.
