Vodafone Romania: Service revenues grew by 4.2% in the quarter ended June 30th, 2016

+ Closing customer base of mobile, fixed voice and machine to machine at 9,159,281, out of which mobile base of 8,487,782   +          Mobile ARPU was EUR 6.1 for the three months ended June 30th, 2016   +     Service revenues of EUR 173.9 million for the quarter ended June 30th, 2016

 

Vodafone Romania announced the key performance indicators for the quarter ended June 30th, 2016,  as reported on Friday by Vodafone Group Plc.

Service revenues for the quarter ended June 30th, 2016 reached EUR 173.9 million, increasing by 4.2%, compared to same period last year, on an organic basis.

Vodafone Romania had 9,159,281 total customers (mobile, fixed voice and machine to machine) at June 30th, 2016, representing an increase of 357,691 users as compared to same period of last year. Out of the total number of customers, 8,487,782 were mobile customers.

Vodafone Romania’s blended mobile ARPU reached Euro 6.1 over the three months ended on June 30th, 2016.

At June 30th, 2016, mobile postpaid customers represented 41%, and prepaid customers 59% of the total mobile base. Mobile prepaid base as a percentage of total mobile base decreased by 0.3 percentage points as compared to the previous quarter.

Data usage for the quarter ended June 30th, 2016 was 15,480 TB, an increase of 105.3%, compared to the same period of last year. That was, driven by higher smartphone penetration, +6.4 percentage points in the quarter, compared to the same period of last year.
