From 3rd September 2016 , you have the chance to feed your creative adrenaline within the CINEIMPACT Film Summer Academy, an international program dedicated to Art and Social Cinema by innovating into Creative Documentaries, Docu-Fiction Storytelling, Visual Anthropology and Social Action .
The program will take place in Campulung-Muscel region, the fieldwork of exceptional cultural landscape offered by outstanding Carpathian Mountains and specifc local life. The film development area will be concentric to the little town of Campulung, which magically interweaves the diverse experiences of the last century: old-fashioned rurality, aristocratic heritage and post-industrial urbanity, that create a quite cinematic meeting point of pre- and post- communist society. The best 12 young students and professionals, selected on the criteria of motivation, experience and creative personalities, will be invited to attend for 15 days the CINEIMPACT creative adventure. Through a tailored-made and hands-on filmmaking program, the summer academy will explore innovative ways of CINEMA and IMPACT production, while transgressing the boundaries of fiction, non-fiction, visual anthropology and social activism.
Participants will be guided by 3 Tutors (Ger Duizjings , Vintilă Mihailescu , Ionut Piturescu). During field research, development, production and post-production of the films, the participants will be inspired by master-classes of invited experts. Film crews will be supported by production assistants with expertise in the investigated area. All the 12 authors of the resulting films will be tutored in building optimal distribution strategies for their film projects.
