Two Romanians killed, minor injured in car crash in Bulgaria

Two Romanians, husband and wife, died on Thursday in a car crash near Kardzhali, Bulgaria. Their under-age child was injured in the crash, according to the Foreign Affairs Ministry (MAE).

The Romanian embassy in Sofia has urgently contacted the relevant local authorities in order to obtain more information about the circumstances of the car crash, to confirm the identity of the Romanian citizens killed and the child’s medical condition, the aforementioned source shows.

MAE points out that the Romanian embassy is monitoring the case, with priority, is staying in permanent contact with the family and relevant local authorities and is offering special consular assistance within the limits of its legal prerogatives.
