Romanians download data through fixed Internet connections with 53.22 Mbps average speed in 2015

Romanians have experienced in 2015 real average speeds of 19.22 Mbps for mobile Internet data download and 53.22 Mbps for fixed Internet data download, according to a report released on Wednesday by the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM), based on the Netograf.ro application.

The official data show that in 2015 the download average speed for the fixed Internet connections at national level varied from 28.33 Mbps (northern Maramures County) to 69.16 Mbps (Bucharest).

In 2015, the Romanians have enjoyed real average speeds of 19.22 Mbps for mobile Internet data download (17.4 Mbps for the indoor connections and 28.52 Mbps for the outdoor ones), and 53.22 Mbps, respectively, of fixed Internet data download (75.49 Mbps for the wired connections and 34.45 Mbps for wireless connections).
