The famous Huf Haus houses, present within the residential project Dumbrava Vlasiei

The German house constructor HUF HAUS, who reinvented the post-and-beam architecture, combining it with the modern design, has opened the first two presentation houses in Romania within the premium residential project Dumbrava Vlasiei from Balotesti.

The name of HUS HAUF represents the devotement and the effort of a family, which continues to operate and to develop an almost 150-year business, currently being at its 3rd generation of leaders. Besides individual houses projects, Huf Haus has in its portfolio residential complexes projects, as well as office buildings.

“HUF HAUS is more than a business, it’s a legacy transmitted in our family since 1912. Having a tradition of more than one century of excellence, HUF HAUS has become a standard in the worldwide modern architecture field, together with the promise of delivering top quality wood structure buildings. Both of the houses that we built in Romania are representative for what HUF HUAS means and for the provided feeling: living in harmony with nature. This couldn’t be possible without a powerful partner and without the concept suggested by Dumbrava Vlasiei, which is in line with the HUF HAUS vision, helping us to intensify the experienced generated by our houses”, stated Georg Huf, HUF HAUS Managing Director.

“Through Dumbrava Vlasiei, we intended to build a unique residential project, having the advantage of a wonderful location, in the middle of the nature and yet close to Bucharest. That’s why HUF HAUS was a natural choice when we decided to be our first partner in writing this story that we’ve started together. Besides the outstanding architectural options, Dumbrava Vasiei also provides an excellent infrastructure and recreation areas, being an oasis close to the city, an escape from the urban noise right in the heart of the forest. The project is adequate for the young adults, families with children and for all those who wish to reconnect with the nature”, stated Rey Muraru, Manager of Loreco Investments, the developer of the Dumbrava Vlasiei project.

The two models of houses present in the Dumbrava Vlasiei residential complex are Casa Art 5 and Modum 8:10, both of them being exclusively produced in the HUF HAUS factory from Hartenfels, Germany, with the most high quality materials.

The house model HUF HAUS ART 5 represents the classical Fachwerk style, providing a living space of approximately 295 sq. m. on two levels – ground floor and first floor, plus basement with an additional area of 145 sq. m.

The HUF HAUS model Modum 8:10 provides a living space of more than 175 sq m at the ground floor and first floor, having furniture specially realized by StilART, in clear and powerful lines that fit perfectly to the structural items of the post-and-beam architecture.

Both of the houses are provided with garage, built in the same style as the two buildings. The houses include the most recent technologies that turn them in smart houses. The KNX technology provides the user with the possibility to adjust the light, heat and fresh air consumption, as well as the shutters, thus increasing even more the energy efficiency of the house. The construction stage is fully coordinated by an experienced team of HUF HAUS specialists that know each step of the whole process. Besides a unique quality, a HUF house requires a short period of time, only a few months, from the project stage to the finish.

The Dumbrava Vlasiei premium residential project will be developed in five stages on a 90 hectares land. The complex has its own infrastructure, with 24,000 meters of roads and 4,000 meters of fiber. In the first stage, 140 lots of facilities are available, as well as a modern park with an area of 2.5 hectares, including an amphitheater and playgrounds.
