Proleasing Motors estimates a year-end 2016 with growth in all the business lines

Following the balance-sheet for the first three semesters of 2016, Proleasing Motors, for 15 years dealer and service center for the Ford brand – through the integrated centers in Ploiesti Buzau and Targoviste, and for 3 years for the brands BMW and MINI – through the commercial complex in Ploiesti, announces growth across all the business verticals – new car sales, second hand automobiles sales, service and spare parts trade.

In the first 9 months of 2016, Proleasing Motors sold 629 new cars, out of which 142 units are BMW, with 15% more than in the same period of the previous year, and 487 are  Ford units, with 42% more than during January -September of 2015. The most sold model in BMW’s portfolio was BMW X5, with 25 units sold by the end of September and the most dynamic growth compared to the same period of the previous year was recorded for the BMW 3 Series, on the merits of the application in the business segment customers.

The largest share in sales was recorded by the models from the X segment, covering 53% of the total recorded sales. The best model in the Ford range this year is the Ford Focus – 117 units, followed closely by Ford Transit, with 113 units delivered since the beginning of the year, of the total of 200 units of commercial vehicles sold.

Of the total sales, those made from leasing entered an upward trend, increasing by 1-3 percent for all the brands in the portfolio. The largest BMW fleet sold in 2016 has recorded 17 units, while the Ford division delivered a fleet of 26 units. The most expensive car delivered by Proleasing Motors in 2016 so far is a BMW X6 M, whose list price is 152.200 euros.

The same trend is reflected in the development of the service activities, which registered an increase of 11% in the first nine months of 2016 (compared to the same period last year) and thus keeping a percentage of 13.5% of the total turnover. The BMW Service Division was the most dynamic one, with 20% over the performance in 2015.

“We expect that the online requests to represent a growing category for all our business units, that’s why all the expected medium-term investments are aiming to  increase our competitiveness in the digital environment. We meet today a more educated customer, with the standards raised regarding the reliability of the digital solutions they have available, and this is reflected in the significant increase in this year of the number of applications on service and appointments made online on the company’s website”, says Lucian Alexe, General Director Proleasing Motors.

Proleasing Motors expects that by the end of the year, there will be delivered 165 BMW units, with 10% more than in 2015 and 650 FORD units, with 50 more than the target this year.

Proleasing Motors company operates with 120 employees, who are located in the offices in Ploiesti, Buzau and Targoviste.
