Cristina Neagu designated world’s best handball player in 2016 in Handball Planet survey

Romanian player Cristina Neagu was voted the best handball player in the world in 2016, according to a survey carried out by the specialist portal Handball Planet. Neagu (who plays for the ZRK Buducnost Podgorica) ranked first with 64 points in the survey carried out with the attendance of some journalists specialized in handball from 19 countries. Neagu also won the title in 2015.

She was followed in the ranking by two Norwegian players Heidi Loke with 62 points and Nora Mork with 61 points, both of them playing for Gyor.
