Chamber Speaker Dragnea: I told Trump we want to take partnership between Romania and US to another level

Speaker of the Deputies’ Chamber Liviu Dragnea announced that he attended, together with Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu a inner circle dinner alongside President-elect of the United States of America Donald Trump, whom they conveyed the wish to take the strategic partnership between Romania and the US to another level.

“Last evening I had the honor to attend, together with Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu, a inner circle dinner alongside President-elect of the USA Donald Trump. I have conveyed the President our wish to take the strategic partnership between Romania and the US to another level. President Donald Trump responded: “We will make it happen! Romania is important for us!.” It was a warm and open dialogue,” the Chairman of the Social Democrat Party (PSD) wrote on Facebook, in a post which he attached several photos to.

Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu wrote on Thursday evening, on the same social network about “the first meetings” with the new members of the team at the White House.

“Last evening, in Washington, D.C., face to face with President Donald Trump, alongside Chairman Liviu Dragnea. The first meetings with new members of the team at the White House, of whom I mention here only Rudolph Giuliani,” Grindeanu mentioned in a post on Facebook.

Prime Minister Sorin Grindeanu is attending, together with Speaker of the Deputies’ Chamber Liviu Dragnea the swearing-in ceremony of the new President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
