Former MP Sebastian Ghita on Europol most wanted fugitives list

Former Romanian deputy Sebastian Ghita is on the most-wanted fugitives list of the Europol website, after a European arrest warrant was issued on his name.

Sebastian Ghita has gone missing since mid-December 2016.

His photo is on the website that belongs to Europol, alongside other persons wanted by the European police.

On 5 January, a panel of justices with the Supreme Court issued an arrest warrant in abstentia on the name of Sebastian Ghita, after the latter disappeared and never showed up to the Prahova County Police (IPJ Prahova), thus violating the terms of the judicial supervision ordered against him in the case he was sent to court for, next to former Police, Prosecutor Offices’ heads.
