Farmec opens 15 new own stores in 2017, in Romania

Farmec, the most important Romanian cosmetics producer, announces the extension of the own stores network at the national level, by opening 15 new retail spaces in 2017. The company from Cluj Napoca also intends to strengthen its relationships with the partners from aboard and to establish new collaborations in order to open new stores abroad.

“The success that Farmec had last year provided us with the entire necessary confidence to design an ambitious and viable development strategy also for 2017. Last year, we opened 8 new stores, including the first Gerovital stores in the country, and each inauguration was enthusiastically met by those who love our brands. This year, we’ll get even closer to the Romanians and we’ll open 15 own stores in the whole country, both in the traditional trade and in the great trade centers. This development strategy has been established as an answer to the consumers’ requests, who always appreciate and recommend our products. Also, by the end of the year, we will finalize the project by which our potential collaborators can open franchises of the brand stores, continuing to establish partnerships abroad. We estimate that all these approaches will materialize also in an increase of the turnover with more than 15%” stated Codrean Pop, Farmec Sales Manager.

The development strategy of the company also includes launching new ranges and products, as well as modernizing the Farmec range. At the same time, the producer from Cluj will invest in development courses for the employees activating in sales, and it will make the whole operational chain within this department more efficient.

Last year, Farmec recorded a monthly average of 14,000 customers, in more than 22,500 sale points. The company currently has 11 own stores at the national level: 3 stores in Cluj-Napoca, 2 stores in Bucharest and one store in Sibiu, Timisoara, Brasov, Constanta, Arad and Tirgu Mures. The company has opened 8 Gerovital stores abroad, in cooperation with local partners, in Italy, Spain, Hungary, France, Greece and in United Arab Emirates.
