National Employment Agency: Almost 21,000 job vacancies as of Feb. 10

There were 20,880 job vacancies with various companies entered as of Friday in the national jobs directory, the National Employment Agency said.

In a breakdown by counties, job openings are as follows: Bucharest – 3,155; Arad – 2,537; Sibiu – 2,076; Cluj – 1,018; Arges – 998; Ilfov – 933; Timis – 746; Hunedoara – 744; Valcea – 535; Iasi – 510; Alba – 504; Harghita – 492; Maramures – 485; Brasov – 450; Satu Mare – 401; Dolj – 398; Prahova – 370; Bihor – 361; Calarasi – 349; Neamt – 341; Olt – 339; Constanta – 290; Bistrita-Nasaud – 266; Braila – 228; Mure – 209; Dambovita – 202; Gorj – 190; Suceava – 180; Vaslui – 154; Salaj – 146; Tulcea – 145; Covasna – 140; Ialomita – 126; Buzau – 125; Teleorman – 120; Vrancea – 115; Galati – 109; Mehedinti – 103; Caras-Severin – 90; Botosani – 79; Giurgiu – 64; Bacau – 57.

Nationwide, most jobs offered are for: unskilled workers for parts assembly and fitting (1,786); unskilled workers in the ready-made garment industry (1,319); industrial fabric sewers (1,230); security agents (913); retail sales workers (772); subassembly fitters (636); heavy lorry drivers (623); knitwear sewers (566); goods handlers (542); store attendants (527).
