ONRC: 17,251 individuals and companies registered in first 2 months of 2017,down by 11.3 pct from 2016

A number of 17,251 registrations of individuals and companies was recorded in the first two months of 2017, lower by 11.3 percent compared to the similar period of last year when the number of registrations stood at 19,447, according to the centralized data of the National Trade Register Office (ONRC).

Most registrations occurred in Bucharest, 2,638 respectively (minus 17.9 percent compared to the period between January and February of 2016) and in the following counties: Cluj – 941 (-11.48 percent), Ilfov – 724 (-2.56 percent) and Timis – 700 (-13.37 percent).

The lowest number of registrations was recorded in the following counties: Ialomita – 130, declining by 27.37 percent compared to the first two months of last year, Giurgiu – 156 (-25 percent) and Calarasi – 156 (-24.27 percent).
