Spring International Feline Exhibition SofistiCAT kicks off

pag 8 sofisticatMore than 250 cats from all around the world can be admired at the Spring International Feline Exhibition – SofistiCAT, to be held on April 1 and 2 at the C6 Pavilion in the Romexpo exhibition center, Bucharest.

Superb specimens of cats of the breeds: Persian, Exotic, Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest, Siberian, Ragdoll, Turkish Angora, Sacred Burmese, Bengali, British Shorthair, Abyssinian, Chartreaux, Devon Rex, Don Sphynx, Russian Blue, Burma, Singapura, Sphynx, Oriental and Siamese, will march in front of a prestigious international jury.

The exhibition will be open both days from 10.00 to 18.00, and its highlight will be the contest BEST IN SHOW. The most beautiful cats of the exhibition will compete both on Saturday and on Sunday in the great final, for a place on the podium. Sponsors will provide generous prizes for the finalists, consisting of food and accessories for cats.

Within the event, products and accessories dedicated both to the cats (food, hygiene, games) and to their lovers (jewelry, T-shirts, bags, face-painting) will be available.

Visitors also can participate in a special raffle with prizes consisting in play centers for cats.

As always, in the two days of the exhibition, the campaign “Show that you care (Arata ca iti pasa)” will also be held, in order to collect donations (money or food) for animals in shelters. Animal protection organizations will bring vaccinated and sterilized cats to be adopted.

Tickets cost RON 10, pensioners benefit from tickets with a price reduced to RON 5, while children under 12 have free access.
