- ParkLake confirms its outstanding success with 3 international Awards from 2 different entities
- A €180M investment with 70,000m2 and over 200 shops
Sonae Sierra, the international company dedicated to developing and service vibrant retail centred properties, was recently awarded with 3 prestigious European awards. At the 12th Annual SEE Real Estate Awards in Bucharest, Romania, Sierra won the price for the best Best Retail Developer. Recently opened in September 2016, ParkLake received was elected as the Best Retail Project of the Year in South Eastern Europe. Additionally, in the same evening, but in Prague, at the CIJ HOF (Hall of Fame) Awards 2017, ParkLake was amongst the Best of Best category and won the award for Best Retail Development & Developer across CEE & SEE region.
The EuropaProperty SEE Real Estate Awards is the longest and only event of its kind bringing local and international professionals to meet and discuss opportunities in the SEE region. The award recognises quality of design, quality of construction and the construction processes in relation to costs, environmental concerns, accessibility and location, with further consideration being given to the commercial success and durability of the project.

After receiving other award recognitions for the development of ParkLake, Sonae Sierra and Caelum Development have the honour to be awarded this year for the Best Retail Developer, Best Retail Project in South Eastern Europe, by Europa Property, and also Best Retail Development & Developer across CEE & SEE region, by CIJ Europe. Sonae Sierra and Caelum Development were awarded amongst the top performers this year representing the most outstanding and accomplished projects and companies throughout the SEE and CEE region in 2016. The members of the jury are all experienced real estate professionals and are from every sector of the commercial real estate and retail industries in the region.
