Dragnea dons folk costume to chip in for Nasaud’s induction in Guinness World Records

PSD President Liviu Dragnea donned a folk costume alongside 10,000 others who gathered in Nasaud to get the city inducted into the Guinness World Records for the highest number of people wearing folk costumes. The event took place on Sunday, on the Folk Costumes Day.

“Today I joined more than 10,000 people wearing traditional costumes, who planned to enter the World Records on Folk Costumes Day. It’s an honour and a source of pride for me!” Liviu Dragnea wrote on Facebook.

Dragnea was accompanied by Bistrita-Nasaud County Council Chairman Radu Moldovan, County Prefect Ovidiu Frent, MEP Victor Negrescu and Culture Ministry Secretary of State and folk singer Alexandru Pugna.
