Innovations, expansion to Transylvania and a realized turnover of approximately 4 million euros for Business Lease in the first semester of 2017

  • Business Lease Romania closes the first semester of 2017 with a turnover of approximately 4 million euros, an increase of 20% compared to the same period last year
  • Innovations with an increasing role and support via Connected Care
  • New regional office opening in Cluj with an investment of 70.000 euros

Business Lease, one of the most innovative international companies providing complete mobility solutions through Operational Leasing, Car Fleet Management and Rental in Romania, closes its first semester of 2017 with a turnover of approximately 4 million euros, an increase of 20% compared to the same period last year, due to an increase in number of customers and due to the opening of its first Regional Office in Cluj.

“We were expecting these results, as last year we expanded our services portfolio, we increased our customer database and we focused more on addressing small and medium-sized companies, through a very targeted consultative selling process”, said Ioana Grigore, Commercial Director Business Lease Romania.

This year, new clients such as TÜV Rheinland Romania, Rail Cargo Logistics – Romania Solutions, DSV Solutions, Altex Romania, GFR (Romanian Railway Group), Ortec have joined the company portfolio. Thus, the company’s representatives estimate that by the end of the year, the customer portfolio will continue to grow and the turnover will reach almost 8 million euros, which will represent a business growth of more than 20% compared to 2016.

Investments in 2017

One of the major reasons for this increase is the investment made in the first half of 2017. As a result of the increase in share capital by 9 million lei, the Dutch company made a direct investment of 70,000 euros, with the opening of a regional office in Cluj, which aims to strengthen existing regional operations and develop new ones, in line with the brand promise: better care, closer to customers and their needs. Moreover, by introducing the new Connected Care project, the company aims to increase customer satisfaction, strengthen the fleet quality, increase user’s safety and lower the TCOs.

“Since the beginning of this year, all our new vehicles have been equipped with a device that provides online information on mileage, fuel consumption and information on the technical condition of the car, comparable to what the driver normally receives via its car dashboard. This information allows us to perform tasks more efficiently and proactively and also directs maintenance activities to our partners, ensuring cost and quality optimization. Through our online tools, the customers and car users receive this daily updated information and also insights about their vehicle’s fuel consumption, in order to manage and reduce total mobility costs”, explains Philip Aarsman, Business Lease Managing Director.

In fact, based on the analysis made on customers’ requests, Business Lease specialists noticed an increase in full service contracts. Customers are more focused on demanding a complete outsourcing service for their fleet and they prioritize safety, benefit of  our  expertise and comfort.
