Gov’t establishes main public employers which spending will be included in 2018-2020 fiscal-budget strategy

Under a memorandum on Thursday, the Government established the ten main public employers for the purpose of the budget law, which spending, including priority public investment projects, will be included in the 2018-2020 fiscal and budgetary strategy, in accordance with the fiscal and budgetary accountability law.

According to a government press release, they are: the Labour and Social Justice Ministry; the Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry; the National Defence Ministry; the Transport Ministry; the Interior Ministry; the Regional Development, Public Administration and European Funds Ministry; the Health Ministry; the National Education Ministry; the Public Finance Ministry and the Justice Ministry.

The ten main public employers have been established based on the level of budget spending approved for 2017.
