Romania to host in 2018 ‘Three Seas Initiative’ Summit (sources)

Romania will host in 2018 the “Three Seas Initiative” Summit, according to some official sources.

The quoted sources mentioned that President Klaus Iohannis proposed on Thursday, at the “Three Seas Initiative” Summit (the Baltic-the Adriatic- the Black Sea), which takes place in Warsaw, for the next sitting (in 2018 – e.n.) to take place in Bucharest.

All leaders attending the Warsaw Summit agreed with President Klaus Iohannis’ proposal, official sources revealed.

“Romania’s President underscored that the added value of this initiative relies in its capacity to shape concrete interconnection projects, especially in the areas of transport and energy,” the quoted sources stated.

President Klaus Iohannis is attending on Thursday the”Three Seas Initiative” Summit, alongside leaders of 12 other states. US President Donald Trump is also present as a special guest.
