Victor Ponta: Politics in new party starting September

Former Prime Minister Victor Ponta announced on Thursday that as of September he will do politics in a new party, other than the ones currently in Parliament.

The deputy specified this in a comment to a story he had posted on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

“I have never been with another party except for the Social Democratic Party [PSD]. After 15 years of service, I was ousted because I defended Sorin Grindeanu [former Prime Minister – ed.n.] (who had been in PSD since 19960 against Liviu Dragnea [leader of PSD – ed.n.] (who came from PD [the Democratic Party])!!! I am independent now, but starting with September, I will certainly do politics in a new party (under no circumstance one of the parties currently in Parliament)!” wrote Victor Ponta, thus answering a question on his political future.
