On November 4 and 5, 2017, at the Palace Hall in Bucharest, Cirque de Monte Carlo & Edvin Marton will perform an outstanding show for the whole family: “The Nutcracker”. Tchaikovsky’s classical ballet will appear in an original interpretation, an acrobatic ballet show, within a Christmas show, a dream story for the whole family.

The idea of making such a show, beyond the classical ballet, came from the desire of those from the Cirque de Monte Carlo and of Edvin Marton to create an outstanding show, with acrobatic ballet elements, which takes the entire opera in a totally new dimension: circus, magic, 3D animation, ballet and music. The different and daring approach provided by Cirque de Monte Carlo & Edvin Marton promises an unforgettable experience, both in visual and acoustic terms.

The band from Monte Carlo is one of the world leaders in the field, permanently aiming to take its art to perfection. It easily and dearfully combines the art of circus and music, dance and theater in a unique and original form, so that the performance becomes a really memorable event, regardless of where from is it seen in the world. In the last 5 years, the band travelled all around the world with more than 200 of their own productions, and they haven’t been matched so far.

The charming melodies in “The Nutcracker” can be listened in the fantastic interpretation of the Hungarian world-renowned violinist Edvin Marton, the winner of the Eurovision Award in 2008. Edvin Marton is also the winner of the MTV Europe Award in 2008 and of an American Emmy Award for the best original composition (ABC Television Network).
