PM Tudose’s doctoral thesis, challenged with official attester of academic titles

The National Council for Attestation of University Titles, Diplomas and Certificates (CNATDCU) has received a challenge against Prime Minister Mihai Tudose’s doctoral thesis.

The challenge filed to the attention of CNATDCU Chairman Ionel Valentin Vlad was analysed by the Executive Union for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI), accepted, registered and submitted for resolution to the council on July 5.

”We are hereby submitting to you a challenge against the doctoral thesis of Mr Tudose C. Mihai called ‘Critical infrastructure protection – a dynamic strategy component in the security sector,’ delivered at the Mihai Viteazu National Intelligence Academy, enclosed herein in a digital format, as registered with UEFISCDI , No. 1806/04.07.2017. The challenge is compliant with the requirements under Education Minister’s Order 3482 of March 24, 2016 and it is hereby forwarded to CNATDCU for analysis and resolution,” reads the document posted on the website of the council.

The challenge was also submitted to the National Education Ministry.

Romania Libera newspaper has submitted to the Executive Union for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding (UEFISCDI) a file containing what it says is clear evidence attesting to reasonable suspicions over PM Tudose’s having improperly drawn up his doctoral thesis.
