HealthMin Bodog: I assure resident doctors their income will not be diminished

The resident doctors will continue to receive their study grants and their current income will not diminish, Health Minister Florian Bodog assured on Sunday, pointing out there are two normative acts based on which the grants will be able to be further supplied.

The Minister’s reaction comes after the Romania 100 Platform, launched by former PM Dacian Ciolos, asked clarifications from the Health and Labour Minister on the situation signalled by several resident doctors, who were informed that starting 1 July 2017, at the same time with the new public pay law coming into force, they will no longer receive the 670 lei monthly grant.
