Minister Pastirnac: It’s important that many of those who left come back to Romania

Minister for Romanians Abroad Andreea Pastirnac stated on Saturday in Sulina, where the governmental programme “ARC” is carried out, that efforts are being made so that more Romanians who are abroad return to the country.

“It’s important that many of those who left or those who are at their second or third generation abroad return to Romania. Ten days ago, the Start-up Diaspora Programme was launched, a programme worth 76 million euro and we hope that more and more of those far away think that Romania represents also an investment opportunity,” the Minister told Agerpres.

Andreea Pastirnac also mentioned that through a programme launched by the Education Ministry scholars of the diaspora who come to Romania will have the possibility to choose several study programmes since the first year in universities of the country.
