The Minister of Justice Tudorel Toader on Friday had a meeting with the U. S. ambassador to Romania, Hans Klemm, the two tackling various topics, according to a release by the Justice Ministry.
The U. S. Embassy’s delegation, headed by Hans Klemm was received by Tudorel Toader and the secretary of state Marieta Safta. Talks were focused on the bilateral cooperation in justice, the importance of the legislation’s clarity and accessibility, the consultation with the judicial factors, the judicial education and the prevention, as well as the strengthening of the rule of law and the efforts of fight against corruption.
During the meeting, the sides have stressed the importance of cooperation with the U. S. A., as a strategic partner of Romania.
