President Macron on Thursday to meet counterpart Iohannis, PM Tudose, visit Village Museum in Bucharest

France’s President Emmanuel Macron who is expected to pay a visit to Romania on Thursday will be welcomed by President Klaus Iohannis at the Cotroceni presidential Palace, where the two will have a private talk, then will hold a joint press conference, a release by the Presidential Administration sent on Tuesday to AGERPRES informs.

The French President will also meet Prime Minister Mihai Tudose.

According to the source, the talks between the two heads of state will focus on the development and deepening of the strategic partnership bilateral relationship, as well as on the main topics on the European, international and security agenda.

The two presidents will tour together the “Dimitrie Gusti” National Village Museum in Bucharest and at the end of the day, president Klaus Iohannis will give a reception in honour of his French counterpart.

The visit of the French president was agreed upon on the occasion of the meeting he had with the Romanian president at the European Council on 23 June.
